  • Upholding academic integrity, intellectual freedom, autonomy, and freedom of expression and association through a unified and comprehensive privacy program;
  • Promoting stewardship and integrity related to personal data handled by campus;
  • Committing to the privacy values of transparency and individual choice;
  • Enabling the discovery and appropriate use of personal data for legitimate business and research purposes;
  • Drafting and maintaining privacy policies and procedures;
  • Assisting campus with various initiatives such as open access to research data, data quality, vendor management, and electronic communications; and
  • Raising awareness about autonomy and information privacy and related laws and regulations
