School of Computing, Information and Data Sciences (SCIDS)
Led by Interim Dean Rajesh Gupta, the School of Computing, Information and Data Sciences (SCIDS) meets a critical need to transform data into actionable knowledge across disciplines to advance data science and AI education. SCIDS combines the strengths of the San Diego Supercomputer Center, a national leader in high-performance and data-intensive computing, and the Halicioğlu Data Science Institute, a pioneering interdisciplinary institute that advances data science and AI education and research.

Jacobs School of Engineering
Under the leadership of Dean Albert Pisano, Jacobs School of Engineering includes six departments – bioengineering, computer science & engineering, electrical & computer engineering, mechanical & aerospace engineering, Nanoengineering, and structural engineering – offering 17 undergraduate majors, as well as numerous Master’s, Ph.D., and executive education programs.

School of Physical Sciences
The School of Physical Sciences consists of four major departments: astronomy & astrophysics, chemistry & biochemistry, mathematics, and physics. Under the direction of Dean Christine Hrycyna, the school offers over 3,900 undergraduate majors and minors, as well as interdisciplinary programs in science and mathematics education. Each of the school’s departments offer graduate degrees, and graduate students may pursue interdisciplinary programs in computational science, materials science, mathematics and science education, and quantitative biology.

Rady School of Management
The Rady School of Management at UC San Diego develops ethical and entrepreneurial leaders who make a positive impact in the world through innovation, collaboration and knowledge. Our collaborative culture is based on the five core values of innovation, impact, collaboration, integrity and risk-taking.
Led by Dean Lisa Ordóñez, Rady offers four graduate degree programs, including FlexMBA programs for working professionals, and executive education programs, as well as a series of undergraduate business and accounting courses and minors.

UC San Diego’s School of Social Sciences is committed to the science of society and is driven by research, teaching, and service in the public interest. Founded in 1986, with the goal of increasing interdisciplinary collaboration, the school celebrates the diversity of ideas and people.
