Associated Students represents and promotes active campus involvement of undergraduate students through various programs in leadership, academics, and advocacy.
Graduate Student Association advocates for the rights and interests of our diverse community, to provide the social, cultural, and service opportunities, and to support the betterment of academic and non-academic life of graduate and professional students at UC San Diego.
At the Teaching + Learning Commons, students can get support for challenging courses, subjects, and projects. Whether in a group setting or through one-on-one assistance, in person or online, these support services help students develop effective learning and problem-solving strategies to be successful at UC San Diego and beyond.

Undergraduate students at UC San Diego have a unique academic advising system to guide them through their academic career from admission and orientation through graduation. Students work with both college advisors and department/major academic advisors.
