Student Affairs (vcsa.ucsd.edu), which reports to the Executive Vice Chancellor, oversees many student-centered departments and units, and works collaboratively with campus partners to ensure student well-being and success. UC San Diego is working to implement strategies and initiatives to improve the student experience include providing coordinated and comprehensive academic, professional, and career advising; rethinking curriculum and pedagogy to improve retention and graduation rates, and increase student and faculty engagement; and strengthening the connection between academic and high-impact, co-curricular experiences.
